On 22/08/2014, Vietnam-Japan Consultant Trading Company.,Ltd – Developer of Japan Circle project to promote Vietnam – Japan trade connections in collaboration with Kizuna JV JSC had organized business matching seminar to 13 Japanese companies with more than 30 Vietnamese entrepreneurs at Kizuna Serviced Factory, Tan Kim Industrial Park, Can Giuoc district, Long An province.
In addition to participating in business matching directly, enterprises of Vietnam and Japan had the opportunity to receive useful information from Mr. Manfred Otto – Law Office of Duane Morris shared themes of labor laws and work permit in Vietnam. The topic of Vietnam’s labor is a pressing need of Japanese enterprises which have been investing in Vietnam. So, lawyer Otto’s speech was received a lot of attention and questions of Japanese enterprises which are now leasing at Kizuna Serviced Factory.
On the issue of overtime in Vietnam, according to Mr. Otto shared, Japanese companies should take note of new regulations to limit overtime hours in Vietnam because there were many unfortunate cases occurred when workers and Japanese business disputes.
