ALKEMIA BREWERY is the newest brewery that produce strong alcohol content beer launched their first batch at Kizuna JV II, Long An city, Vietnam, on September 23rd.
Alkemia brewery was established by Mr.Stephane Bulckaen, who is French and very fluent in Vietnamese. He was inspired by the traditional Alkemia brew and the beautiful Vietnamese culture. This bold beer has a culture mix between the tradition of Belgium taste, which is a lot stronger than Vietnamese beer, and the French beer making method. Stephane established his company in Southern Vietnam, early 2016, to pursue his dream as the Vietnamese craft beer market has shifted positively after the success of Pasteur’s Street brewery company.
This dedicated Belgium-French making beer currently comes in two options, which are light and dark. The alcohol content is roughly 12%. At Alkemia, quality always comes before quantity. The main ingredients are a complex combination of local wheat and Western malts, yeast, and hops. Stephane leverages the strength of local specialty, which is one of the world largest rice export countries, to bring this product to live.
